The Board is chaired by His Excellency Professor Dr.
Adnan bin Mohammed Hajji
Who has held this position since the group's founding in 2002. He earned his PhD in Biology from the University of Nottingham, UK, in 1986. He has served as a member of several government committees and associations and has numerous scientific contributions published in peer-reviewed international journals. He also authored a book titled "Fauna of the Kingdom," which is considered a seminal reference work in its field.
